Workshops (from £60 per person, per day)

I have been involved in photography and teaching for more years than I care to remember. During this time I have always been keen to learn and practise the latest and most useful techniques.

I am fully committed to digital photography and all of its requirements. I spend a great deal of my time helping people on a local level, and as a listed lecturer of the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain (PAGB). In addition I am a member of The Licentiate Distinctions Panel, of the Royal Photographic Society.

I feel well qualified to help you improve your photographic techniques, compositional skills, use of light; in addition to improving your Photoshop and digital camera skills.

I provide several types of workshop, aimed to improve your photographic skills. These are all delivered with the utmost enthusiasm and at the pace that suits you. They are outlined below:-   

Practical/Landscape Workshops

I am able to offer practical landscape workshops (digital and film) to small or larger groups of people in some of the most picturesque areas of South Wales. This is possible as I live only 15 drive minutes away from the beautiful Lower Wye Valley (Tintern) and about 40 minutes away from the Brecon Beacons National Park. More information

Photoshop and Lightroom Workshops

Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Photoshop Lightroom tuition takes place in my home and is restricted to a maximum of three/four people.

Workshops can be arranged at your home, using my digial projector and laptop, with the latest Adobe software. (Travel cost charged at 40 pence per mile.)

Teaching on my premises takes the form of relaxed demonstrations, using a large projection screen and laptop, or sat in front of my desktop computer with its large professional La Cie monitor. ovided

Wild Bird and Birds in Flight Workshops

	During Winter months, wild bird workshops can always be offered from my very own garden, using hides. Sometimes it is possible to visit a woodland feeding site. Otherwise, Slimbridge offers an ideal oportunities for a mixed static and flight workshops. Red Kite FLIGHT workshops, can be offered throughout the year, in the superb Tower Hides of Gigrin Farm, Rhayader. (Travel is included) Further information
